Luxury travel company, Cookson Adventures, is offering an exclusive opportunity from from 4th – 7th May 2023 to celebrate the historic event of King Charles’s coronation from one of Scotland’s finest private homes.
Candacraig neighbours the Balmoral estate in the heart of Cairngorms National Park and a stay in this grand 12-bedroom castle will include special access to the celebrations at the Royals’ favourite holiday retreat.
Originally built in the 17th century, by the early 1800s, Candacraig was transformed to its current Scottish Baronial style by the same architect who designed neighbouring Balmoral Castle. While its elegant interior has been updated for luxurious modern living, the estate has remained largely unchanged ever since. With a butler at the guest’s disposal, this grand country house also boasts a vast whisky library, a games room, private woodland sauna and an Italian formal garden.
Combining royal access and unlimited adventure for an exclusive group of up to 20 guests, Cookson Adventures will tailor every element of this weekend to the group’s interests, from the coronation festivities to the different outdoor pursuits across this 16,000-acre estate.

Celebrating in Great British style
