The Norwegian fjords by superyacht
Special insight into some of the planet’s geographical riches
Sailing through dramatic fjord waterways and along cragged coasts, travelling by yacht is the best way to experience Norway’s stunning geography. With our knowledge of the region, you’ll be able to avoid the crowds and enjoy the flexibility to discover hidden islets for lunch setups or waterfalls to explore by SUP.
As we did in 2015, you might even discover a secret cave to explore for yourself. After all, we’ve organised some of the most impressive yacht charters and experiences, whether that’s taking clients or Financial Times journalists swimming with orcas or organising an epic family superyacht adventure – saluted with a wingsuit flyby as they travelled.

[Cookson Adventures] commandeered the help of experts, ranging from professional extreme sports athletes to ex-Norwegian Naval Special Forces expedition guides, to open the full potential of Norway’s remote fjords and mountain ranges
Whether it’s summer’s midnight sun or winter’s northern lights, adventures in Norway are often marked by celestial phenomena. With us, that could mean admiring the aurora borealis on deck in the company of a leading astronomer or toasting a near-sunset glow on a mountain-top dinner setup, reachable only by helicopter.
And, travelling by yacht, we’ll adapt your route to make the best of the weather, marine traffic and your preferences. That could mean spotting a fjord inlet to explore by jet ski or finding a remote white-sand bay for a party in the wilderness.

Of course, that’s alongside plenty of extra intrigue that’s entirely unique to this fascinating country. That might be meeting the indigenous Samí people and foraging for artisan ingredients in the company of a top chef to be prepared at your beach barbecue. Or, it could be something more adventurous. Norway is an outdoors playground where we know the best hidden spots for everything from mountain biking and rock climbing with professional athletes to exploring WWII wrecks in submersibles and e-foil racing on custom courses.
