Henry Cookson, Founder of Cookson Adventures comments: “I founded Cookson Adventures in 2009 to take people to see the furthest corners of our planet in style and Dr. Liza Osagie similarly created SOLICE with the aim to deliver medicine without boundaries. It’s this shared ethos of pioneering the very best in experiential travel, holistic wellness and ultra-personalisation that makes this such an exciting new partnership.
I call this new elevated era of wellness focused luxury travel ‘stealth health’. From my many years of travelling on the ground with our clients, it’s clear to me that when you are in an inspiring location surrounded by nature, you’re much more open to making profound changes in your daily life. You don’t need to go to a punishing clinic to come back a better version of you; often, the most important improvements happen when you’re not noticing. That’s why we have now found the best way to bring the experts to you, whether we’re taking you on a spiritual journey in Bhutan or on a diving adventure in French Polynesia”.
Dr Liza Osagie-Clouard, Founder of SOLICE, comments: “The partnership with Cookson Adventures provides peace of mind and the ultimate in personalised wellbeing for truly out of this world travel experiences”.

Wellness & Healthcare: On Trip & Beyond
Pre-trip
Medical checks & training programmes
Clients embarking on active experiences such as gorilla trekking in Rwanda or kite surfing in Mozambique can choose to have an appointment with SOLICE’s expedition doctor who will be fully briefed on the upcoming adventure for a full health and fitness assessment. Access to healthcare, emergency protocols and geographical nuances will all be considered and a training programme devised if necessary. This personalised plan will be specially designed to optimise physical performance, mental resilience and nutrition. For a seamless experience, the doctor can visit the guest’s homes or offices at their convenience, sending off bloods for analysis and couriering any vitamins or medication back in preparation for the trip.
On-trip
Mind & motion training camps and tailored retreats
Cookson Adventures and SOLICE can integrate bespoke wellness offerings to create tailored retreats in spectacular worldwide locations. Impactful daily practices such as practicing the Wim Hof method and using a sauna will be given the signature Cookson treatment, which could be anything from floating a hot tub out on a Scottish loch to setting up a mobile sauna and cold plunge on a frozen glacial lagoon in Iceland’s remote reaches. Within this, therapeutic and somatic therapies can be seamlessly weaved in from breathwork to sleep optimisation and sound immersion. Bioharmony facilities can also be established in remote lodges and custom camps, so guests can benefit from therapies in the most inspiring and comfortable of environments. One growing trend is to request a transformational experience through multi-activity exploration and building a personalised training schedule. These training retreats are set in breathtaking locations, such as Norway’s Lofoten islands or in the foothills of the Andes and staffed with a high-performance team to positively push guests out of their comfort zone both physically and mentally.
24/7 medical support
Whether in polar or tropical surroundings, guests will be able to enjoy round-the-clock access to specialist doctors, whether that may be on the trip or on call. With the tech on wearable tracking devices becoming more advanced, the team can also respond to real-time data, monitoring everything from heart health and oxygen levels to sleep and stress levels.
Post-trip
Personalised aftercare
The guest’s wellness journey does not end at the airport. After a demanding trip, guests can choose to recover fully with PT sessions or schedule de-escalation talks with therapeutic leads. Following a fully integrated wellness programme, there will be many new learnings and habits that guests will want to assimilate into their daily life. Cookson Adventures and SOLICE will be able to help support this process with everything from nutrition programmes to continuing a nervous system reset course of breathwork at home.
