Cookson Adventures announces the appointment of Nick Davies as Managing Director

January 2023 – Luxury adventure travel company, Cookson Adventures is pleased to announce that Nick Davies will be taking up the position of Managing Director with immediate effect. Davies joined Cookson Adventures in 2018 and has spent the last four years at the company as Director of Projects.

Davies has been part of the team to successfully steer Cookson Adventures thorough the challenges of the pandemic to oversee a record-breaking year for the company. In his new role, he is responsible for overseeing a rapidly growing London-based team and will continue to deliver ultra-personalised global adventures for some of the world’s most successful individuals.

Archie Muir-Mackenzie joined Cookson Adventures in late 2021 to work alongside Davies as Head of Projects. Davies will continue to report to Henry Cookson, who remains the Founder and Chairman of the business.

Davies has over 15 years’ experience across sales and operations in the luxury travel sector. He joined Cookson Adventures from Air Charter Service, where he was Travel Director. He started his career with Trailfinders, before he assumed the role of general manager at Abercrombie & Kent’s Harrods and City offices.

Cookson Adventures experienced its best year in 2022, delivering a record number of trips and private yacht charters, since Henry Cookson founded the business in 2009. Cookson Adventures has recently hired several new members to the projects and marketing teams and been named as one of the world’s top travel operators by Robb Report Magazine.
