Reinventing the charter
With this globe-spanning charter of M/Y Sherakhan from 2021–2022, this is your opportunity to pair one of the world’s greatest superyachts with the expedition services of Cookson Adventures.
You’ll explore regions never visited before by superyacht – when they’re at their best.

It’s all enjoyed in the utmost comfort, with Sherakhan’s 22 passengers served by a near 1:1 staff-to-crew ratio, as well as up to four expedition staff. Wherever in the world you choose to join us, you can charter her exclusively or on a per cabin basis.
Each day will be handcrafted based on the interests of every single guest. Whether it’s tagging manta rays with scientists in Fiji or making archaeological discoveries in Japan’s southern islands, we are experts at turning curiosities into adventures.
Look below at some of the destinations we’ll be exploring or speak to a travel specialist to see the full expedition schedule. While the islands we’ll be visiting are relatively unheard of, they are no stranger to some of our planet’s most extraordinary wildlife. So we’ll be bringing along those that truly know our natural world the best. Marine biologists, wildlife photographers and more.
Panama
February
Not only can we bring you to an untouched island to explore all by yourself, you can search for pods of dolphins with a biologist, help conserve Panama’s jaguar corridor and learn how to freedive among coral reefs.
Cocos Island
April – May
Hundreds of miles from the Costa Rican mainland, this jungled island has plunging waterfalls, gnarled lava flows and no inhabitants other than the rangers protecting it. We can secure special authorisation to get close to alien wildlife, both above and below the water’s surface.
Vanuatu
July
Trek through jungles with a local tribesperson, summit volcanoes with a leading volcanologist or find isolated breaks alongside a professional surfer. This is where idyllic paradise meets intrepid adventure.
Kamchatka
September - October
Taking a superyacht to Russia’s northeastern extreme is essentially unheard of, so sail in style to Kamchatka’s never-summited volcanoes and soaking hot springs. This is the best time to visit, when bears and local fishermen track the salmon run.
Japan's islands
October
Although Japan’s palm-fringed sands make it ideal for island hopping, it’s been fairly overlooked as a yachting destination. We can bring you to the alleged remnants of an ancient, now-underwater city that’s yet to be fully explored.
Mergui, Myanmar
November - December
Few have even witnessed this remote archipelago let alone explored it by superyacht, taking in its ‘sea gypsy’ people, tropical desert islands and thousand-strong list of protected species, including dugongs.
The Maldives
December - January
We will secure permits to venture where only research vessels can, bringing you among the Maldives’ untouched remotes to conserve turtles with local scientists and tag manta rays with marine biologists.
Zanzibar & Tanzania
February
The pristine southern coast of Zanzibar has possibly never seen a superyacht, making Sherakhan the perfect platform to explore the island’s UNESCO heritage, desert islands and unique dive sites. There’s also world-class safari back on the mainland.
Madagascar
April - May
Madagascar’s isolation not only means that its lemur wildlife and baobab fauna are unique, but that superyacht sailing is simply the best way to see it all – so much of its spectacular karst geography simply can’t be reached by land.
