Flying or sailing out to the remote island of Skjervøy, you’ll spend your nights in a traditional weatherboard cabin and your days onboard a purposed yacht, tracking their pods in the company of a marine biologist. Then, once you’ve located them with the use of sonar technology, you’ll don wetsuits and snorkel or dive equipment to get right into the water with the orcas themselves.
Getting closer than few have done before, there’s even the chance to watch a feeding frenzy where a pod works as a team to encircle an entire school of fish. It’s all brought to life by a team of specialists, ranging from dive experts and marine biologists to private chefs and drone photographers.
