Cookson Adventures specialises in crafting the most creative travel experiences on the planet, counting some of the world’s most successful individuals among our clients.
We’ve discovered both Roman shipwrecks and a new species of killer whale, rehomed giant tortoises by helicopter, and been the very first to pilot a private submersible in Antarctica.
As a team, we are dynamic, driven and share a passion for meaningful travel, with a focus on the environmental sustainability.
We have well-located offices in Holland Park, close to the leisure facilities of Westfield Shopping Centre and only a few minutes’ walk from the Central line and overground stations.
The role is primarily office based, with a minimum of three days in the office expected, although it can facilitate flexible working from home.
The role
As part of a London-based team, we’re looking for a creative and results-driven professional, with a proven track record in delivering converting campaigns across both organic and paid platforms.
The role will have ownership of the social media strategy and be responsible for both directing and creating content. So, although you’ll be working alongside a wider team that includes a video editors, you’ll also be responsible for creating content from start to finish.
This will include jointly managing a large collection of stills and video using a DAM system and local NAS drive. Then, selecting rushes and raw images to edit, catalogue and create a series of deliverables from. As such, you should have experience organising assets and using image and video editing applications, such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premier Pro.
Then, you’ll be able to report on and track the performance of both paid and organic content, using this data to iterate and improve campaigns. You’ll also keep ahead of trends and developments across social media and use this to inform your work. As such, you’ll have a strong idea of the niche Cookson Adventures operates in and our target demographic of UHNW individuals and organisations.
Throughout, you’ll be a natural storyteller with a passion for developing innovative and emotive travel content. We’ll provide you with endless inspiration and material, from helicopter film footage over live volcanoes in Iceland to drone shots from the deck of the world’s best superyachts in Antarctica and world-first images from sub-diving adventures in the Pacific islands.
Working closely with the Head of Communications, Head of Marketing, an incoming Video Editor, the Managing Director and our Founder, this is a unique opportunity to grow one of the world’s most pioneering and exciting luxury travel brands.
