We've discovered both Roman shipwrecks and a new species of killer whale, rehomed giant tortoises by helicopter, and been the very first to pilot a private submersible in Antarctica.

We have well-located offices in Holland Park, close to the leisure facilities of Westfield Shopping Centre and only a few minutes' walk from the Central line and overground stations.


The role is primarily office based, with a minimum of three days per week expected in the office.


The role

From building bespoke camps on a glacial lake to hosting parties in off-market Scottish estates and taking yachts to remote Pacific islands for world-first sub dives, Cookson Adventures has built up a collection of truly world-leading products.


Working to support this, this junior role has two main functions:


  1. Assisting the product manager and projects team in organising and curating our network of suppliers from fixers and DMCs to accommodations and local authorities.

  2. Assisting the marketing team in curating content, including product copywriting, image selection and briefing.

As such, we're looking for someone who has both a creative passion for forming and marketing the most original journeys on the planet, and the methodical mindset to catalogue their work and communicate it effectively throughout the business.


Responsibilities

Product development – contribute to the identification, ideation and creation of product briefs for destination-based and accommodation-based product.


Copywriting – write up product descriptions for marketing materials.


Product organisation – compile product information from a range of sources, including internal meetings/comms.


Image work – select and organise imagery for marketing materials and filing systems, including DAM system.


Product requests – fulfil product development (including media) requests from marketing, sales and projects team, or on behalf of Cookson partnerships.


Supplier and partner relations – organise supplier meetings and event attendance, cataloguing information, business cards, images, rates etc.


Skills & competencies

  • Minimum one year of travel-related professional experience.
  • A degree in a related field would be beneficial.
  • Ability to write for marketing and internal communications.
  • An understanding of the travel industry, including the commercials of rates, commissions and contracts etc.
  • A passion for creative travel and discovering the unique.
  • Excellent communications skills.
