Personal Assistant to the Founder & Chairman

A fast paced and diverse role within our young and dynamic team, supporting the company’s Founder & Chairman. We are looking for an individual who thrives under pressure and can apply themselves with a creative approach to problem solving.
The candidate must have the confidence and initiative to manage the principal’s diary, work and social schedule in an independent manner. The principal conducts large amounts of travel and has a very flexible schedule, and as such a positive and adaptable outlook is key.
A passion for travel, good social awareness and creative flair are all key requirements for this role.
Examples of a multitude of tasks may include; assisting with interior design decisions, arranging shipping for tribal art from remote destinations, present selection for high net worth clients and organising photo exhibitions and events.
Duties and responsibilities
Intensive diary management
Ensuring diaries are up to date at all times with appointments, trip dates, events, employee holidays, meetings etc. This will include timely follow ups on meetings and with contacts and clients.
Ensuring emails are closely and effectively managed; filing old emails appropriately and ensuring replies are actioned especially during periods when the principal is away.
Management of three properties, ensuring all bills are paid each month, keeping track of rental contracts and insurance, assisting with property renovation etc.
Extensive travel arrangements
Arranging all personal travel in the most efficient and cost-effective way. This will management of flights, visas, transfers and vaccinations. Experience and confidence to arrange long haul flights with complex itineraries is needed.
Assisting with other various jobs as may be required in support of his role as Chairman & Founder of a growing business.
Confidence on all platforms, this individual may be required to manage the founder’s personal Instagram account. Familiarity and easy adoption of technology such a Dropbox, iCloud, WeTransfer, One drive etc.
Sorting and arranging photos and videos taken on his travels, creating an efficient filing system and processing all media. Having basic photo editing knowledge is an advantage.
Key skills and competencies
- 3 years or more in a PA/EA role
- Passion for photography with experience to support it
- Computer literate and fluency in the use of Outlook and all Microsoft office software
- Experience managing accounts and budgets
- Interest in travel, adventure and luxury
Experience & qualifications required
Degree or equivalent
