Cookson Adventures specialises in crafting the most creative and premium travel experiences on the planet. We like to consider that we lead the sector in terms of creativity, the complexity of logistics and delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests. We count amongst our clients some of the world’s most successful individuals, so we aim for exemplary levels of service and professionalism.

As a team, we share a passion for exploration and discovery with a focus on meaningful travel and providing next-level access through conservation and environmental sustainability.

As we continue to grow, we are investing in curated brand experiences and strategic luxury partnerships that reflect the calibre of our clients and reinforce our position at the forefront of the ultra-luxury travel space.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, commercially astute and creatively minded Events & Partnerships Associate to join our team. This role is central to elevating Cookson Adventures’ brand presence through exceptional events and strategic luxury brand collaborations. You will be responsible for conceptualising and delivering high-impact client events, while also proactively building partnerships with leading luxury brands.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering premium events for UHNW or luxury audiences and a strong track record of approaching and securing partnerships with globally recognised brands.

You will work closely with our Private Client, Projects and Marketing teams to ensure every event and partnership reflects Cookson Adventures’ positioning — bold, refined, experiential and world-class.

Key Responsibilities

Events
  • Conceptualise, plan and deliver high-end client events in the UK and internationally – private dinners, panel talks, brand showcases, adventure previews, experiential activations.
  • Manage events end-to-end: venue sourcing, guest list coordination, supplier management, social media engagement, run-of-show, budgets, post-event reporting and follow up.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure event collateral, invitations, and branding are the best they can be.
  • Ensure every touchpoint reflects Cookson Adventures' standard of excellence.
  • Work closely with the Private Client team to curate guest lists aligned with revenue targets.
  • Oversee on-site execution and client hosting where required.

Partnerships
  • Identify and approach the leading luxury brands that align with our values to build meaningful partnerships.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop compelling partnership proposals and sponsorship decks and ensure messaging is aligned across social, email, and PR channels.
  • Secure financial sponsorship and/or value-in-kind support for events.
  • Engage brands that we could partner with to source or curate collateral for client gifting.
  • Negotiate commercial terms ensuring strong ROI and margin contribution.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships rather than one-off sponsorships.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline of partnership outreach within our CRM.

Key Criteria

Experience
  • 2–5+ years’ experience in luxury event management, experiential marketing or brand partnerships.
  • Proven experience organising premium events for affluent or UHNW audiences.
  • Demonstrable track record securing sponsorship from high-end brands.
  • Experience negotiating commercial partnership agreements.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market landscape.
  • Experience working with CRM systems to track pipeline and engagement.

Personal Skills
  • Confident communicator with gravitas and credibility when engaging major luxury brands.
  • Commercially driven with a strong understanding of revenue and margin impact.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Calm and composed under pressure during live events.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to elevate standard event formats.
  • Strong written skills – able to craft persuasive proposals and outreach.
  • Discreet, polished and professional.
  • Proactive and self-starting with a hunter mentality for partnerships.

Compensation Details

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Performance-linked bonus structure
  • Unique travel opportunities
  • Company benefit scheme worth £1,250
  • Eligibility for company profit share bonus scheme
